What is the CRAFTY Studio?
The CRAFTY Studio is the most exotic place on Earth. No, just kidding- but that’s the vibe I’m going for! -I made it eclectic and colorful because I want it to feel like a journey to a special place- an invitation to step into a world where you are a work of Art...
It’s a Boutique Portrait destination for Photoshoots & Makeovers.
I love to play with different kinds of light, but for portraiture natural light is my favorite. I love the way it glows & flatters skin- plus it streams through the studio beautifully and abundantly!
There’s a boudoir dressing room (also with natural light) for hair and makeup and an upper loft with another set and more light! There’s dressers full of lingerie and wardrobe racks that house a decade’s worth of treasure hunting at flea markets. It’s basically a boudoir playground.
I’m always working in the studio so if you ever want to pop by for a visit please do! I love showing friends the garden and studio, and if you’re interested in a session it’s the best way to get a sense of what I do and what we can create together! xoxo, CRAFTY.
This summer I had the honor of shooting the new Snap Tailor campaign. The San Francisco based company makes beautifully designed custom tailored dress shirts. Do you have a man in your life who has a hard time finding well fitting shirts? Do you want an easy solution? Check out the snap tailor site- recently updated with photos from our shoot. This was an exciting project for me because I love this business AND it brought me back to my set decorating days when I regularly worked on men's dress shirt campaigns. Let's face it: men are not always easy to shop for. But once your measurements are in the system it's super easy to reorder- knowing it will fit just right. They have styles for every occasion and they've made it simple and affordable to order custom made to measure shirts! Brilliant.
